10Xers are clear-eyed and stoic. They accept, without complaint, that they face forces beyond their control.
10Xers are disciplined, have values, goals, and perform.
10Xers don't follow other people's advice; they instead look for evidence. They observe and experiment. And gets the engagement going.
Channel ego's into the company or leave it at the door.
Prepare for worst-case scenarios.
The importance of the 20-mile march. Commit to march for 15 to 30 years. My Reading+Workout morning routine is my 20-mile march.
Fire bullets, then cannonballs. Be aware of how much gunpowder you have.
Leading above the deadline: Bring reserves (oxygen, cash). Manage risk (time, money) Zoom out, then zoom in (respond, focus)
