Leaders Read#75

👋 Hello everyone,

Stephen King said, "Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration; the rest of us just get up and go to work."

Here are some resources you might have missed:

📚 Book Summary:

This week's book is "To Sell is Human" by Daniel H. Pink.

Most of us are in sales, even if we don't sell automobiles or go door to door with brushes. We sell our ideas for new projects, pitch marketing campaigns, and persuade colleagues daily. If you're looking for effective strategies to sell your ideas more successfully in the workplace, Daniel Pink's "To Sell Is Human" is the book for you.

One of my favorite takeaways from the book is this:

"Embrace the tough times. We have all been in an office with posters of eagles and wolves and teamwork quotes. If you really want to be inspired, frame the rejection letters or the articles you wrote that never got published. These at the moment, failures did not break you but helped build you to who you are now."

✅ Actionable advice:

Winston Churchill said, "If you are going through hell, keep walking." Challenges build strength. Your resilience didn't come from being cozy and safe; it came from doing the work, being consistent, and looking forward, not back. Ask yourself, "What action will take me closer to my desired future?" Keep walking, keep building you.
