👋 Hello everyone,
Dean Kamen said, "I don't want to waste any time. And if you are not working on important things, you are wasting time."

Here are four resources you might have missed:
📚 Book Summary:
This week's book is "HBR Guide to Making Every Meeting Matter" by Harvard Business Review.
This book compiles the best articles from Harvard Business Review on conducting more efficient meetings. It’s a quick read packed with valuable advice, though the nature of the compilation can sometimes make it feel a bit disjointed.
One of my favorite takeaways from the book is this:
"When you don't have clarity about what you're doing on a project, it's tempting to schedule a meeting to give you the feeling that you are making progress. But unless the meeting's intent is to structure the project, scheduling a meeting is probably an inefficient use of your time—and your colleagues."
✅ Actionable advice:
Don’t let your busyness cause you to make this fatal productivity error. Remember, as a leader and manager of people, meetings are a good use of your time but tremendous interruptions for your individual contributors. A short email with the following three questions might be enough: 1) current status, 2) roadblocks or challenges, and 3) next steps and timeline. Strive to make your meetings purposeful and efficient for everyone. So unless decision-making or alignment is necessary, use the time better.
